We know that these are stressful times, so we created these Beehive 5 tips to help you manage stress and keep your sanity.

Stress is at an all-time high these days. Whether you're worried about finding and/or keeping a job, how you're going to make ends meet or you're dealing with your kids, it's important to know how to handle stress while you're living in the real world. Here are the top “Beehive 5” tips for managing stress:

Tip #1 -- Know Stress' Body Signals
Symptoms of chronic stress vary, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. So, it's important to stay tuned in to your body and look for signs of stress. If you're having trouble concentrating, you can't sleep or you have mood swings, anxiety or depression, you may be stressing out.  Physical symptoms may include headache, migraines, abdominal pain, sleep issues, back pain and neck stiffness.

Tip #2 -- Learn How to Calm Your Mind
When tension strikes, it becomes hard to focus on yourself and calm down. Practice deep breathing and meditation exercises daily when you feel tension rising, advises the American Institute of Stress.  Repeating positive affirmations are also a good way to deal with stress, cope with the things you cann't control and to counter negative thinking. Or, pick-up a good book and take your mind off of your problems.

Tip #3 -- Work it Out with Exercise
The best way to get rid of tension is to get moving. Exercise can be a low-cost way to manage stress. Go for a 10-minute walk, go dancing with friends or lace-up your boxing gloves. Find what works for you and break a sweat often.

Tip #4 -- Stay Mindful of Your Blessings
Write down what's on your mind and what you're thankful for. It's a good way to release tension. But, it's also a tool that can help you remember all the things that are good about your life. Give thanks for your family, friends, and loved ones. This practice will help you gain perspective on your life.

Tip #5 -- Remember to Laugh

Laughter helps to lower tension, and at the same time, improves blood flow. So, rent a funny movie, watch a YouTube video or hang out with your funniest friends. Laughter is great medicine for stress.
