These are emergency shelters that can help you.
City Union Mission-Family Shelter 1310 Wabash (close to Prospect and I-70)
Accepts single women with or without children and couples with children. Generally 30 day stay. 
City Union Mission- Men’s Shelter 1108 E. 10th (10th and Troost)

Very small shelter- generally houses one family at a time. Hot meals Saturday-Thursday 6-7:30 p.m. next door at 918 E. 31st street.

Overnight shelter for men only. Must be there between 3:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to get a ticket. Chapel services at 7:00 p.m. with meal to follow. Women may come for chapel and meal. Shelter guests leave at 6:00 a.m.
