Kansas has an easy way to find out if you qualify for government assistance with cash, food, medical, or childcare expenses.
Find the self-assessment tool here. It is only one page. Make sure you have the following information:
· Basic household information like how many children you have or if anyone has a disability.
· How much you earn in a month, including other income like child support or social security.
· How much money you have on hand, including anything in bank accounts or bonds.
After you finish and submit the tool, the next page will show you what assistance you can get.
